Who We Are

Sweet Spot Training is a local, ‘brick and mortal’, family-run business, located in Pickering (Durham Region), Ontario. We cater to the Entrepreneurs, small and mid-sized businesses, groups and clubs in our community, who are looking to grow in their personal lives and promote their business on the internet.  It is our hope that small businesses across the www world who are looking to get results from the internet will partner with us.

We want you to succeed! That’s why Sweet Spot Training offers 3 different learning formats, so you can choose the style that works best for you:

1. On-line learning:   learn on-line through webinars, ebooks, videos, and more
2. Mobile learning:  let our workshops, classes and training sessions come to you! 
3. Classroom learning:  Drop-into our Training facility in Pickering for more personalized instruction. Our classes are small, to maximize your time and ultimately - your results.

 Our Team:

Mike Tersigni is the President of the Sweet Spot Training Centre. Mike is an entrepreneurial genius; Owner of multiple e-commerce online stores for over 12 years. Mike’s success proves that selling online can be done in even the most obscure niches, as with http://waterbedandfuton.com. He’s experienced with Business setup, the 1shoppingcart system, delivery systems, payment processors, website design and build, multi-website launches, Promotion and List Building, and SEO. Mike also has vast experience in sales and marketing

Sally O’Connor is a Certifed Senior Communications and Projects Consultant, based in Pickering, ON who offers strategic Communications and Project Management services including Project and Communication Plans, Internet Marketing Solutions, Business Cases and Proposals, Process Mapping, Methodology Development, Copy / Technical Writing and Project Controls. She is eMarketing Certified through the Canadian Marketing Association and has accreditations in Communications, Law and Marketing. More recently, Sally became a certified Community Services Worker, focusing on Program Development and Adult Learning. 

  Karen Blundell has been a freelance website developer and Internet consultant since 1997. For the last four years, Karen has specialized in WordPress; troubleshooting, installing core WordPress files and plugins, designing and creating custom themes, and modifying free themes to suit specialized requirements. She is an experienced programmer who is well versed in coding with html, xml, Java, css, as well as specialized, custom graphic design, using a variety of tools. Sweet Spot is proud to have Karen join their team, where she has become the IT ‘go to girl’.

Mike, Karen and Sally develop programs, teach classes and coach workshops at the Sweet Spot Training Centre.
